The ‘Slow down’ theme bionic speaker design encourages users to slow down the pace of their lives, feel at ease, and calm down while listening to a piece of music.
Background
The pace of life of modern people is getting faster and faster, and the trend of fragmented leisure time is becoming more and more obvious. Slowing down our pace has become a luxury. Can we calm down and enjoy a piece of music or a blog?
"Slow down" is what we want but hard to achieve
Products can awaken awareness of slowing down
In order the product can deliver slow down feeling, it is needed to find what will give people a feeling of slowness, elegance and coziness
Slow down can be felt if the product has jelly fish's characteristics:
Low saturation
Soft
Curved
Float
Bionic design
Use a matte, semi-transparent shell to convey the floating and soft qualities of a jellyfish, evoking a desire to touch.
Visually, allows users to first perceive a sense of organic life, reminding them of the jellyfish’s slow, floating movement.
Tactilely, provides comfort and psychological reassurance to the user. Encouraging a feeling of slowing down.
